Nutsa Gogaladze (b. 1998, Tbilisi, Georgia) is a self-taught artist whose practice centers on drawing as a method of self-reflection and visualization.
Working primarily with soft pastel, and recently expanding into oil painting, her work develops through rhythm, repetition, and an intuitive engagement with color and gesture.
Her practice is informed by a fairytale-like mode of communication, where imagery emerges through sensation and imagination rather than narrative illustration. A musical background plays an important role in her creative process, shaping both the rhythm of her work and the titles she assigns, allowing sound and image to function as parallel systems of expression.
Gogaladze has participated in international exhibitions and artist residencies, including a residency at the Elaine de Kooning House in East Hampton, New York. Her works have been exhibited and collected in Georgia, Europe, and the United States. She lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia.
