Identica presents a nomadic, internationally oriented exhibition program dedicated to supporting contemporary artistic practice.
We are committed to shaping a global program that amplifies diverse artistic practices and supports the continued development of contemporary art. Through its exhibitions, Identica presents works with a focus on material presence, formal clarity, and thoughtful presentation, creating space for sustained engagement between the work and the viewer. Its program reflects an ongoing commitment to artists and to the evolving conditions of contemporary visual culture. Team
David Gamsakhurdiya has held positions at Pace Gallery in Palm Beach, Tara Downs, and Waterhouse & Dodd in New York. He has contributed to over ten exhibitions and coordinated sales, with experience in curatorial projects and market transactions. He holds a B.A. in Business and Digital Media Studies with a minor in Art History from the University of Rochester.
David Finestein founded Dissolution in Tbilisi in 2022. Exhibiting Georgian and regional artists, the gallery was mentioned in Art Basel’s article about Tbilisi’s art scene in 2024. David has a BA from New York University and organized group shows in New York prior to opening Dissolution.
Nino Mtvarellishvili has worked with leading New York art organizations, including Art Dealers Association of America, Hirschl and Adler Galleries, and Gurr Johns, gaining experience in art fair organization, research, appraisal, and market analysis. She holds an MA in Art Market Studies and a BFA in Illustration with a minor in Art History from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
